Biographical notes:
Noël’s eight years living and weaving with the Navajo and subsequent 50-year collaboration with Tiana Bighorse culminated in ten books and over 200 presentations to universities, museums, and textile organizations on Navajo history and culture. Noël paints from her home-studio-gallery in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Artist Statement:
My art, a culmination of deep cross-cultural listening, distills time and space. Sensuous color and surface express spirit to elevate the fullness of being.
